Established in 1990, QAIHC is the peak organisation for Queensland’s Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Services.
QAIHC’s role is to support our Members through sector development, policy and research activities.
Our 28 Members operate across Queensland, giving QAIHC a state-wide perspective of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
Queensland’s Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Services are an integral part of the Queensland healthcare system.
Our Members provide comprehensive Primary Health Care services, reducing the burden on Queensland Hospitals and facilities.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health is our Member's core business.
