Hearing Health

Hearing health is so important for our mob as healthy ears and healthy hearing help people connect with language and culture, help kids learn at school, and increase job opportunities.

QAIHC's policies and programs aim to prevent, treat and monitor ear disease in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, focusing on:

  • Preventing ear disease
  • Ear health support
  • Outreach services
  • Resources

For more information about hearing health reach out to your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service or get in touch with our Hearing Health team at EarHealthCoordinators@qaihc.com.au
