Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - NATSIHA

NATSIHA is Hiring - Lead Something that Matters (Identified position)

There has never been a more important time to join NATSIHA.

The Northern Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Alliance (NATSIHA) are a growing, purpose-driven organisation, leading regional collaboration across Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) in Far North Queensland.

We are at a pivotal moment — strengthening our foundations while driving a bold agenda for system reform, sector sustainability, and improved health outcomes for our communities.

Everything NATSIHA has built so far has created a unique opportunity for leadership. The appointment of a Chief Executive Officer is central to this next phase — shaping the future direction of the organisation and the regional health system.

As CEO, you will lead a values-driven organisation committed to self-determination, cultural integrity, and community-controlled care. You will work alongside Member Organisations, peak bodies, government, and partners to strengthen the ACCHO sector and build a more connected, effective, and culturally safe health system across Far North Queensland.

This is a rare opportunity to lead at a systems level — influencing policy, investment, and regional decision-making — while delivering meaningful, measurable improvements in health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

If you are motivated by the opportunity to lead change, strengthen community-controlled organisations, and shape a health system that works better for First Peoples, we would love to hear from you.
