The Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC) has launched a new publication called Sector Leader magazine.

“Sector Leader magazine celebrates the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Sector and provides readers with accurate, appropriate and well sourced stories, news and advice,” QAIHC CEO Mr Neil Willmett said.

“We know that the Sector provide culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care services to more than 500,000 Queensland patients every year.

“Many of the health services in the Sector are quiet achievers. All are improving the health of Indigenous Queenslanders. This publication provides an avenue for QAIHC to share their success stories with the wider Australian community.

“This is the first time in Australian history, a magazine will showcase the CEO’s of Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Services.

“Sector Leader magazine will do more than just celebrate success, it will inform, inspire and challenge readers. Its intelligent editorial voice and strong identification will give the magazine a reputation for quality, integrity and a loyal readership.”

Sector Leader magazine will be published by QAIHC six (6) times in 2018 and is being distributed nationally. It will also be made available at strategic locations across Australia.

The first edition of Sector Leader magazine is available online at www.qaihc.com.au.
