QAIHC Federal Election 2022 Resources

There’s a federal election looming, and it seems more and more likely the poll will take place at the last possible opportunity on Saturday 21 May.

The 2022 federal election campaign is already well underway and when we vote in May (likely), one of the major parties will come out ahead. Anthony Albanese needs a net gain of eight seats to win a Labor majority at this year's election - but he will face strong resistance from Scott Morrison who wants to cling on to the electorates he has while trying to expand his ranks. Either party faces a tough fight ahead of them, especially as other parties and independents look set to cause a few upsets.

QAIHC is developing policy positions in tandem with our Members and other stakeholders to best represent you at the next federal election.

To preface these discussions and the election, we have created a Federal Election Guide to spark that critical thinking and positioning.

Every single voice is important as it guides our position on certain policies and election promises and allows us to explore the granularity of what it is our Sector truly needs from the Commonwealth. Get in touch with us at any time to share your thoughts about the upcoming federal election.
