Better integration of childrens’ health services under microscope

14 May 2016

Improving the provision of health services for children in Central Queensland and Wide Bay has moved a step closer with the staging of a Hearing Health Connect regional stakeholder workshop in Gladstone.

The workshop was commissioned by Central Queensland Regional Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Organisation in response to the Queensland Government’s Deadly Kids, Deadly Futures 10-year ear and hearing health framework for improving the health, early childhood development and education outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in Queensland.
