A Human Resource Audit is being designed to assist in identifying what is missing or needs improvement, from a Human Resource perspective at QAIHC.

It will be trialled in early 2011 and feedback from the trial will ensure the audit becomes a worthwhile source for future HR planning. A Skills Audit is being considered as a means of developing a comprehensive baseline of workforce data to facilitate strategic approaches to people management and workforce planning. By analysing the newly developed Position Descriptions, the skills audit, once completed, will provide a clear view of the skill and knowledge requirements of any QAIHC position. Such data not only allows an evaluation of current strengths but also provides critical information for staff appointments and transfers.
